From Bourbon Street to Jackson Square, all up and down royal, the sounds of soothing orginality fill the streets drawing and engaging any listener.

Our Most Recent Album

Our newest album “Open Closed” is here. We recorded it at “Studio in the Country”, a studio that is actually in a forest. The songs on the album were totally improvised and some we may never play again. We came up with the names after envisioning the story’s that each song told. All in all everything came together to create this tribal feeling. This is a very old story that each of us can connect to, if we go deep enough…

Roots Mini Series Appearance

Mario Van Peebles, who was directing the Roots Mini Series at the time, found us playing out at Jackson Square and bought a cd from us. As he was reviewing the script for the wedding scene he was listening to our cd and heard “The Pirate Song” playing. He decided that this scene must have our song in it. So he got in contact with us and we rerecorded the song with a Jambe Drummer for the scene. We got to be on set for the scene and watch the magic happen as everyone danced to our music.
